SUMMARY:Port Douglas Gran Fondo Festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Port Douglas Gran Fondo Festival\, which involves both running and cycling events\, will be held in the beautiful Tropical North Queensland. The three-day festival is the perfect excuse to visit and explore this stunning region. \nThe 136km and 100km Gran Fondo\, 60km Semi Fondo\, and the 48km Medio Fondo will be held on Sunday 14 September. These rides will be timed but are not a race\, so you can choose to challenge yourself for a best time\, or take the time to soak in the beautiful surroundings. \nOther events across the Festival weekend include Run Port Douglas\, Hartley’s to Port MTB Race\, Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina Festival Expo\, local live music and after party! \nWhen you nominate MIA as your charity of choice\, funds raised support our life-saving melanoma research\, so we can reach our mission of zero deaths from melanoma. \nMake sure you set up your fundraising page\, as well as registering for the event – both can be done at the link below. \n\nREGISTER NOW

SUMMARY:SunSafe Student Program – Ballina (Sept 2025)
DESCRIPTION:Help change attitudes about sun safety in a very important demographic: our youth. \n\nMelanoma Institute Australia’s SunSafe Student Ambassador Program is a free one-day workshop that teaches teens about the importance of sun safety and the dangers of tanning\, while developing their public speaking skills and empowering them to be champions of change within their school community.
