SUMMARY:IPOS Annual World Congress
DESCRIPTION:The annual IPOS World Congress of Psycho-Oncology and Psychosocial Academy brings together professionals in diverse fields from around the globe who dialogue about improving cancer care on an international level and developing strategies to add psychosocial issues to all aspects of cancer control. The attendees include\, but are not limited to\, psychologists\, psychiatrists\, physicians\, nurses\, social workers\, social scientists\, patient advocates\, educators and administrators\, dieticians\, epidemiologists\, spiritual care specialists\, and vocational rehabilitation specialists. \nThe congress offers three days of symposia\, podium presentations and posters addressing a variety of disciplines within cancer supportive care. The congress is held in conjunction with the Psychosocial Academy which offers one day of training workshops and presentations. \nThe theme of the congress is «Towards a sustainable psycho-oncology: of all and for all». In the twenty-first century\, there is no longer any doubt about the need to address the psychological aspects of cancer patients and their families\, nor about the necessity of incorporating it in patient care throughout the entire cancer journey. It is time to make psycho-oncology a reality across the entire healthcare and social support network for people living with cancer all over the world. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Hotel Barceló Sants\, Barcelona\, Spain \n\n\n\n\n\nKey Dates: \nAbstract Submission Deadline: 15 July 2026\nAbstract Decision Notification: August 2026\nPresenting Author Registration and Payment Deadline: 1 October 2026\nWorkshop Submission Deadline: 1 July 2026\nEarly Bird Registration Deadline: 11 August 2026 \nFIND OUT MORE

SUMMARY:COSA Annual Scientific Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We are honoured to co-convene the 2026 COSA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) to be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney from Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 November 2026\, with pre-conference workshops being held on Tuesday 10 November. \nThe theme for the 2026 COSA ASM is The precision generation: From cancer prevention to personalised care. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis theme reflects how far cancer care has evolved; from a one-size-fits-all rigid approach\, to care that is increasingly tailored to the individual\, across the entire cancer journey. \nThe disease theme will have a strong focus on lung cancers\, alongside sessions addressing head and neck cancers\, early-onset cancers such as colorectal cancer\, and brain cancer\, including both primary and metastatic disease. As always\, equity will be embedded throughout the program\, reflecting COSA’s ongoing commitment to improving outcomes for all people affected by cancer. \nIt has been almost a decade since the COSA ASM was held in Sydney\, so we are excited to bring it back to showcase the remarkable advances that have transformed cancer care over this time\, including the molecular biomarker realm and the evolution of novel transformative therapeutics. \nAustralia has developed deep expertise across clinical care\, research and clinical trials\, implementation and policy\, and the program will highlight this local leadership alongside contributions from international experts in the fields of drug development\, precision oncology\, pharmacogenomics and palliative and supportive care. \n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: International Convention Centre (ICC)\, Sydney\, Australia \nKey Dates: \nDelegate Designed Symposia Submissions Close: 3 July 2026\nAbstract Submissions Close: 7 August 2026\nAbstract Decision Notification: 2 September 2026\nAbstract Acceptance by Presenter: 11 September 2026\nEarly Bird Registration Deadline: 11 September 2026\nPre-conference Workshops: 10 November 2026 \nFIND OUT MORE
