DESCRIPTION:Help change attitudes about sun safety in a very important demographic: our youth. \n\n\nMelanoma Institute Australia’s SunSafe Student Ambassador Program is a free one-day workshop that teaches teens about the importance of sun safety and the dangers of tanning\, while developing their public speaking skills and empowering them to be champions of change within their school community. The program promotes student wellbeing and fulfils PDHPE/HPE curriculum outcomes.\n\n\n\nSchools are invited to send 3-5 students from Years 8-10 plus an accompanying teacher to participate in this important program.\n\n2025 locations include:\n\n Wollstonecraft\, Sydney (14 August)\n Camperdown\, Sydney (20 August)\n Cottesloe\, Perth (27 August)\n Hobart (4 September)\n Brisbane (9 September)\n Ballina (12 September)\n Wagga Wagga (18 September)\n\nVIEW INFORMATION SHEET ABOUT PERTH EVENT  Schools – please register now using button below – places are filling fast!\nSCHOOLS – REGISTER NOW\n\nParents – please encourage your child’s school to attend\, or complete the expression of interest form below. \n\nEXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM\nThe SunSafe Program is an initiative of Melanoma Institute Australia and is held in partnership with Cancer Council WA.
