SUMMARY:CRI Postdoctoral Fellowships
DESCRIPTION:CRI Irvington and CRI Immuno-Informatics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program  \nThe CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is one of the most prestigious training opportunities in immunology and cancer immunology. It supports outstanding young researchers at the world’s leading universities and research institutions\, providing the resources\, mentorship\, and professional development needed to launch independent scientific careers at the forefront of discovery. \nThe CRI Immuno-Informatics Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports outstanding early-career scientists worldwide who seek dual expertise in immunology and data science. This unique program fosters a new generation of researchers fluent in both biology and computation\, equipping them to drive innovation in cancer immunotherapy. \nFellowships provide three years of support\, including a stipend of $74\,000\, $76\,000\, and $78\,000 in years 1-3. The host institution receives a $5\,000 annual allowance for use at the sponsor’s discretion to cover costs such as research supplies\, conference travel\, health insurance\, or childcare. CRI also provides dedicated support for fellows to attend the CRI Bioinformatics Bootcamp. SUMMARY:ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award
DESCRIPTION:The DECRA scheme provides focused research support for early career researchers in both teaching and research\, and research-only positions. \nIt’s objectives are to: \n\nsupport outstanding early-career researchers with demonstrated capacity for high-quality research and emerging capability for leadership and supervision\nfoster collaboration\, with national or international researchers\nsupport excellent and innovative research that addresses a significant problem or gap in knowledge and represents value for money\ncreate new or advanced knowledge resulting from the outcomes of the research with economic\, commercial\, environmental\, social and/or cultural benefits for Australia\nadvance promising early career researchers and promote enhanced opportunities for diverse career pathways in high-quality and supportive environments.\n\nThe DECRA scheme provides funding for three-year DECRAs\, providing a researcher with salary and on-costs\, and up to $50\,000 per year in project costs. \nProject funding may be used for: \n\npersonnel\, postdoctoral research associates and research assistants\, technicians and laboratory attendants\naccess to research and infrastructure facilities and technical workshop services\nessential field research\nexpert third party services\nequipment and consumables\npublication and dissemination of project research outputs and outreach activities\nspecialised computer equipment and software\ntravel costs essential to the project for up to $50\,000 over the project activity period\nweb hosting and development\nworkshops\, focus groups and conferences\, and\nreasonable essential costs for researchers who are carers or who themselves require care.\n\nKey Dates \nApplications Close: 11 MARCH 2026 \nAnticipated Announcement: 10 December 2026 – 9 March 2027 \nSEE GRANT GUIDELINES PDFSEE GRANT GUIDELINES CHANGES PDFSEE WEBSITE
