SUMMARY:SHP Annual Awards
DESCRIPTION:Sydney Health Partners Awards celebrate outstanding early career researchers\, clinician researchers\, and consumers who are creating lasting impact in clinical and health services research. Award winners will be announced at the upcoming SHP Annual Forum on 29 July 2026. \n\n\n\n\n\nAward Categories\n \n\n\n\n\nEarly career researchers and clinician researchers can apply or be nominated for one of five Awards: \n\nTranslational Research Addressing a Health Priority\nClinical Trial Excellence\nExcellence in Consumer-Researcher Partnerships\nResearcher–Health Professional Collaborations\nSHP Using Research to Change Health Practice\n\nEach Award winner will receive funding of $2\,000 for: \n\nresearch-related professional development expenses\, and/or\npayments for consumers partnering in research.\n\nNominees for the early career researchers and clinician researcher awards must be employed by a Sydney Health Partner organisation.  \n\nConsumer Contributions to Health Research\n\nThis consumer-focused award recognises the valued contribution of consumers who are actively involved in shaping health research that matters. Consumers can either self-nominate or be nominated by others. \nThe Consumer Award includes a gift card to the value of $250. \nAll nominations must include endorsement from a senior manager or researcher employed by a Sydney Health Partner organisation.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNominate Now:\n\n\n\n\nNominations for the 2026 SHP Awards are now open and will close at 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday\, 17th June 2026. \n\n\n\n\nSEE GRANT GUIDELINESSEE WEBSITE

DESCRIPTION:The annual Westmead Research Hub EMCR Symposium brings together honest career journeys\, practical tips & tricks\, and high-quality oral presentations showcasing the incredible research from our EMCR community. \nHear from keynote speakers Professor Marc Wilkins and Professor Eddie Holmes who will share the real stories behind their career paths – what worked\, what didn’t\, and what they wish they’d known sooner.
