DESCRIPTION:We are proud to open a new Annual Grants Round in 2026\, made possible by the continued support of our community\, partners\, and fundraisers. \nThis year’s Grant Round is open to applications in the following categories: \n• Early Career Research Grant\n• PhD Scholarship\n• Prof Richard Scolyer Award for Brain Cancer Research for Early\, Mid and Senior Career Researchers \nThe Tour de Cure Grants Committee follows an ethical\, independent\, and transparent selection process when reviewing applications. \nWe are committed to funding innovation and excellence\, using our resources to support the best Australian-based projects and researchers. As a cancer-agnostic organisation\, we consider applications across all cancer types. \nDemonstrating a rigorous selection process\, choosing the strongest projects\, and maintaining sound project governance – all grant applications are assessed on merit. \nAn EOI (Expression of Interest) is required for all research grant categories listed. EOIs are reviewed in Round One by the Tour de Cure Grants Committee. Successful applicants are then invited to submit a full grant application in Round Two\, which is assessed in detail by the Grants Committee who then makes recommendations to the TDC Board for final decisions in December. \nInstitutions supporting individual researchers may submit no more than two applications per grant category. This limit applies even where an intermediary body\, such as a foundation\, applies on behalf of the researcher. SUMMARY:RACP Research Awards and Career Grants
DESCRIPTION:Through the RACP Foundation\, we’re able to offer financial support to Fellows and trainees pursuing careers in medical research. Over 50 different fellowships\, scholarships and grants are available annually\, totalling over $2.5 million in funding. \nCareer Development Fellowships are intended for mid-career researchers who completed their research higher degree over 7 years ago and/or researchers who are not eligible for either Research Entry Scholarship or Research Establishment Fellowships. \nResearch Establishment Fellowships are available to Fellows and Advanced Trainees who want to establish themselves in a research career. \nResearch Entry Scholarships provide up to $45\,000 stipend support to Advanced Trainees and Fellows who are at the start of their research careers\, helping them undertake a Masters\, PhD or equivalent higher degree and build a foundation for a future in medical research. \nResearch Development Grants provide from $10\,000 to $30\,000 in funding for smaller research projects for beginning researchers. SUMMARY:NSW Health Medical Devices Fund
DESCRIPTION:The Medical Devices Fund provides grants to drive the commercialisation of highly innovative new devices and technologies in NSW\, addressing gaps in the product life cycle between early-stage research and mature investment opportunities. \n\nThe Medical Devices Fund aims to: \n\n\n\nSupport individuals\, companies\, public and private hospitals\, medical research institutes\, universities\, other public sector research organisations\, and the medical devices industry\, to take local innovation to market\n\n\n\n\nIncrease the uptake of NSW medical devices that are cost effective and contribute to improved patient outcomes.\n\nFor Round 14\, applicants with projects that address the following NSW Health Research and Innovation Strategy aligned priorities are encouraged to apply: \n\nWomen’s Health\nFemale Entrepreneurs\nAboriginal Health\n\nApplicants with projects that do not address the above priorities are also able to apply. \n\nThe program funds project activities used for any purpose that meets the objectives of the program\, subject to the exclusions below. \nExamples of activities that can be funded include: \n\n\n\ndevice development\, including proof-of-concept\, prototyping\, and piloting studies\n\n\n\n\nmanufacturing samples for product trials\n\n\n\n\nclinical assessment\n\n\n\n\nlocating other national and international trials and research relevant to the product under development\n\n\n\n\nbusiness planning\, including conducting market and product assessments\n\n\n\n\nintellectual property management\n\n\n\n\ncommercialisation\n\n\n\n\ncapital raising\n\n\n\n\nKey Dates:\nPreliminary applications close: 9 June 2026\, 5:00pm AEST\nFull applications for this grant are by invitation only.\nNotification of final outcomes: February 2027 \nSEE GRANT GUIDELINESSEE WEBSITE

SUMMARY:SNOW MEDICAL Snow Fellowship
DESCRIPTION:Snow Fellowships target emerging global research leaders that show the potential to drive\, manage and influence the next generation of health and medical innovation. The Fellowship provides these emerging leaders the independence\, funding and time to develop a bold research program\, build their research team\, and establish leadership experience. \nEach Snow Fellowship will be valued at approximately $8 million over eight years for eligible early to mid-career researchers. DESCRIPTION:Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) awards capital grants (between $1.5 to $5 million) for technology\, equipment and infrastructure for cancer research at Australian medical research institutes\, hospitals and universities. \nGrant applications are open to research into all types of cancer with a research focus on detection\, prevention\, and/or treatment. \nSince 1984\, ACRF has awarded $209.3 million to 93 research grants in 44 Australian cancer research institutes. \nACRF promotes collaboration amongst researchers and clinicians and encourages novel and innovative cancer research projects. SUMMARY:Australian Melanoma Research Foundation Research Grants
DESCRIPTION:The AMRF will continue to support the next generation of melanoma researchers in Australia by providing research grants to post-graduate students and early career researchers. \nThe AMRF will fund research that contributes to the understanding and prevention of melanoma. The number of grants awarded in 2026 will depend on the quality of the applications and the funds requested. The AMRF will be selective in the research it supports. Any proposal to the Foundation for research funding will need to be contestable and show evidence of scientific merit within the national context. \nThe aim of the AMRF’s grants scheme is to support high quality research that is not fully funded through other grant schemes or from other sources.  AMRF funds are to be applied to offset the direct costs of the research.
