DESCRIPTION:Join us for an engaging educational day designed for all nurses who care for melanoma patients.\n\nHosted by Melanoma Institute Australia\, in collaboration with the WA Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service and Cancer Network Western Australia\, our one-day symposium will give you practical insights from multidisciplinary experts and provide an opportunity to network with fellow nurses. \nThe 2024 Perth Nurse Melanoma Symposium program covers the whole spectrum of the disease including the use of AI in melanoma\, medical advancements and the management of systemic therapy side effects. \nProgram:\n\nMelanoma awareness and prevention – Dr Chris Quirk (Dermatologist)\nUse of AI in melanoma – Dr Tony Caccetta (Dermatologist)\nManagement of non-melanoma skin cancer – Julie Teraci (CNC Skin Cancer & Melanoma)\nWhich patients are seen at WAKMAS? – Stacey Coke (CNC)\nSupport for melanoma patients – Angie Miller (Melanoma Community Support Nurse)\nSystemic therapy side effects – Caitlin Broderick (Nurse Practitioner)\n\n(Please note this Program is subject to change) \nRefreshments will be provided. \nDate: Thursday 25th July 2024.
