SUMMARY:Toxic Clues: An Immunotherapy Investigation
DESCRIPTION:Can you spot the clues before they become a crisis? \nJoin us for an immersive\, interactive workshop designed for nurses caring for people receiving immunotherapy across all cancer types. \nWhether you work in an oncology day unit\, inpatient ward\, or another setting where patients receiving immunotherapy may present\, this workshop will help you build confidence in recognising the clues\, asking the right questions and knowing when to escalate. \nFollow the evidence through real-world cases\, tackle the clinical grey zones\, learn from experienced cancer nurses and put your skills to the test in our Immunotherapy Escape Room. You’ll leave with practical strategies and tools you can take straight back to clinical practice. \nRecognise the clues. Connect the symptoms. Escalate with confidence. \nWho should attend? \nRegistration is open to Registered Nurses working in oncology day units\, inpatient wards\, or other clinical settings where they are administering or caring for patients receiving immunotherapy. \nEvent details \nCost: Free\nCatering: Morning tea\, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.\nCPD: A certificate of attendance will be provided.\nTravel grants: Travel grants of up to $2\,000 per applicant are available to support nurses working in inpatient cancer centres or caring for patients receiving immunotherapy from across Australia to attend this one-day workshop in Sydney. \nPlaces are strictly limited and registration is essential. \nThis event is an initiative of Melanoma Institute Australia with event support from Cancer Nurses Society of Australia (CNSA) and funding provided by Australian Department of Health. \nREGISTER NOW
