Through the RACP Foundation, we’re able to offer financial support to Fellows and trainees pursuing careers in medical research. Over 50 different fellowships, scholarships and grants are available annually, totalling over $2.5 million in funding.
Career Development Fellowships are intended for mid-career researchers who completed their research higher degree over 7 years ago and/or researchers who are not eligible for either Research Entry Scholarship or Research Establishment Fellowships.
Research Establishment Fellowships are available to Fellows and Advanced Trainees who want to establish themselves in a research career.
Research Entry Scholarships provide stipend support only and are to assist Fellows and Advanced Trainees who are:
- at the start of their research careers and about to enrol in a Masters, PhD or equivalent research higher degree
- in the 1st or 2nd full-time equivalent year of their research degree.
