The annual ‘Erik Mather 2-4-6 Swim’, in support of Melanoma Institute Australia, is on at Balmoral Beach on Saturday 11 February at 7am – and you’re invited to join in!
The open water swim is organised by Monika Mather and #BalmoralBeachClub, in honour of Monika’s brother Erik, who lost his life to melanoma aged 45. Erik was an inspiration to all who left a wonderful legacy to the community through the creation of the Balmoral Beach Club Nippers.
Funds raised from the swim will fund the Melanoma Institute Australia ‘Erik Mather PhD Scholarship’ for melanoma research.
Monika would love to welcome new swimmers to the event. Register now for the 2, 4 or 6 km course, as the number of swimmers in each distance is limited.
