Sydney Health Partners Awards celebrate outstanding early career researchers, clinician researchers, and consumers who are creating lasting impact in clinical and health services research. Award winners will be announced at the upcoming SHP Annual Forum on 29 July 2026.
Early career researchers and clinician researchers can apply or be nominated for one of five Awards:
- Translational Research Addressing a Health Priority
- Clinical Trial Excellence
- Excellence in Consumer-Researcher Partnerships
- Researcher–Health Professional Collaborations
- SHP Using Research to Change Health Practice
Each Award winner will receive funding of $2,000 for:
- research-related professional development expenses, and/or
- payments for consumers partnering in research.
Nominees for the early career researchers and clinician researcher awards must be employed by a Sydney Health Partner organisation.
- Consumer Contributions to Health Research
This consumer-focused award recognises the valued contribution of consumers who are actively involved in shaping health research that matters. Consumers can either self-nominate or be nominated by others.
The Consumer Award includes a gift card to the value of $250.
All nominations must include endorsement from a senior manager or researcher employed by a Sydney Health Partner organisation.
Nominations for the 2026 SHP Awards are now open and will close at 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday, 17th June 2026.
