Aled has been a Clinical Nurse Consultant at Melanoma Institute Australia since 2023 with over 8 years’ experience in the oncology field, having previously worked at Royal North Shore Hospital in inpatient cancer care. He completed his pre-registration nursing qualifications through the University of Sydney in 2016 via a Graduate Entry Master of Nursing, and in 2022 completed a Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing through the Australian College of Nursing.

During his time working in Oncology, he has seen great strides in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with cancer and is enthusiastic to be a part of a multidisciplinary team with a research focus who continue to advance the field.
