2025 Sydney GP Dermoscopy Workshop: Melanoma in Focus

Develop your dermoscopy skills at our upcoming workshop hosted by Melanoma Institute Australia.

Dermoscopy is an invaluable tool for General Practitioners, offering a detailed assessment of skin lesions in everyday practice.

This introductory workshop is designed for General Practitioners who are new to dermoscopy or looking to build confidence in skin lesion assessment, with a focus on its role in diagnosing and monitoring melanoma in general practice.

Participants will build confidence by gaining foundational knowledge and practical skills in identifying structures and distinguishing skin lesions, including melanoma, through the “Chaos and clues” algorithm, as well as identifying common benign entities.

Date and Time: Saturday 1 November 2025, 8:30am to 2pm (Note: Registration will open at 8:00am with presentations commencing at 8:30am sharp)

Location: The Poche Centre, 40 Rocklands Rd, Wollstonecraft NSW 2065, Australia

Cost: Free (Note: morning tea and lunch will be provided)

CPD: This event has been accredited for 4.5hr EA hours with RACGP (ID: 1326917), SkinPro CPD (ID: 10119) and ACRRM (ID: 37655).
