In February 2020, Amie St Clair Melanoma celebrated its 10th Anniversary, and the merger with Melanoma Institute Australia was announced. The merger provided melanoma patients in the Riverina region with strengthened and sustained melanoma services, including:
Increased capacity of the free melanoma nursing services;
The establishment of clinical trials in Wagga Wagga; (link to Wagga clinical trials page)
Opportunities for melanoma patients within the region to contribute to MIA research;
Melanoma Education opportunities – both professional (GPs/Clinics) and community, including the SunSafe Student Ambassador program.
