Melanoma Institute Australia has provided services and support in Perth, Western Australia since it merged with melanomaWA in January 2020.

Melanoma Institute Australia WA aims to reduce the impact of melanoma in the WA community. We support people living with melanoma and their carers, families and friends, and raise awareness about melanoma prevention in WA. Western Australia is second only to QLD in terms of melanoma incidence across Australia.

We provide the following support, services and programs:

  • SunSafe Student Ambassador Program
  • Awareness activations
  • Nurse Symposium
  • Annual Community Forum
  • Community fundraising
  • Melanoma March
  • Speakers’ Hub
  • Volunteers

In addition, local, regional, and remote melanoma patients have greater access to medical specialists through Melanoma Institute Australia’s network.
