Owing to the large number of skin cancers being managed in Australian general practice,1 it is important to document the trends and preferences of general practitioners’ (GPs) diagnostic approach to suspicious skin lesions, to inform guidelines for diagnosis and ensure safe and cost-effective treatment in general practice.
