Congratulations to our MIA Co-Medical Director, Professor Richard Scolyer AO, who has just been announced as the recipient of the 2023 Founders’ Award from The American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP).

The Founders’ Award was established by The American Society of Dermatopathology in 1983 in honor of the Founding Members of the Society. It recognises individuals who have made outstanding original and significant contributions to the field of dermatopathology. A very well-deserved honour!

This is the highest award from the American Society of Dermatopathology, and one of the very few times in its 40-year history it has been awarded to someone outside of North America.
