About the role

As a Melanoma March volunteer committee member, you will support the Melanoma March Committee Lead with various aspects of event planning for their Melanoma March. This may involve volunteering your time in the lead up to the March and/or on the day.

Responsibilities and tasks may include (but not limited to):

• Attend planning meetings
• Approach local organisations for support, prizes, donations etc
• Liaise with catering, vendor and entertainment suppliers
• Promoting the March on your social media/personal networks
• Event logistics on the day including set up and pack down, course marshals, registration + distributing marketing materials
• Support participants on the day

Requirements

Applicants must undergo a Background Check (Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People/Blue Card). Please provide details on your application form.
