MIA Co-Medical Directors, Prof Georgina Long AO and Prof Richard Scolyer AO, joined organiser Matt Kean on Day 1 of the Riverina Melanoma Ride – a 130km cycle from Albury to Wagga.

Melanoma survivor, and popular school principal, Matt Kean is riding 1000 km around the Riverina over eight days, from 31 March to 7 April, to increase awareness of melanoma and raise funds for MIA Amie St Clair Melanoma.

In the three weeks leading up to the Riverina Melanoma Ride, Matt has visited local schools, as well as sporting and community groups, spreading the sun-safety message.

Other cyclists are joining Matt along the way – and on Day 1 his fellow cyclists included our MIA Co-Medical Directors, Prof Georgina Long AO and Prof Richard Scolyer AO, who cycled the 130km from Albury to Wagga! That is dedication for you!
