We are delighted to have been successful in receiving four research grants recently awarded by Tour de Cure Australia.
We know our researchers conduct ground-breaking research, but it is always welcomed and satisfying, when this is recognised by such a leading cancer research funding organisation as Tour de Cure.
The research funded centres on: metastatic progression for patients treated with immunotherapies; use of AI to guide diagnosis and management of melanoma; the tumour-immune interaction in melanoma; and furthering our understanding of melanoma therapies for brain cancer.
Congratulations to researchers Dr Ismael Vergara, Assoc Prof Serigne Lo, Eva Shteinman and Prof Helen Rizos.
Thank you Tour de Cure and to your thousands of supporters and donors who contribute to cancer research every year. Philanthropic funding for medical research is a critical component, which has and will continue to support many advances in our knowledge, which in turn saves lives.
Congratulations Professor Long, amazing determination and great minds, each and every day, by you and your teams.
Thank you
