The four-year Government Funded Roadmap for a National Targeted Melanoma Screening Program commenced in March 2025.

MIA is leading the development of the Roadmap in collaboration with a large network of experts and stakeholders. Since commencement Roadmap Workstreams have been meeting regularly to discuss and define key elements of a potential screening program design, evaluate available evidence supporting these elements and plan research to address evidence gaps.

The team has provided this update on progress to date.
