MIA is governed by a Board of Directors, and the Board is advised by a multi-disciplinary Faculty, chaired by MIA’s Medical Director, Professor Georgina Long AO. MIA’s mission is zero deaths from melanoma and Faculty is advised by three Committees – Research, Clinical and Education.

Membership on each Committee is by invitation from Faculty and membership and Chairs are rotated on a biennial basis. Professor Georgina Long and Professor Angela Hong are ex-officio members of each Committee.
